Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers

While most athletes spend their offseason doing rigorous training, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell spent his time getting kicked out of Stanley Cup Playoff games.

OK, all jokes aside, we know the Wizard of Boz trains hard by running endless laps on the yellow brick road.

After finishing last season 23rd in scoring among kickers, Boswell may go undrafted. While his season-long outlook may look drab, his Week 1 outlook is so bright you might need some of those eclipse shades.

The Steelers are favored by 9 points on the road against the Cleveland Browns. They are the biggest favorites of the opening weekend. According to Sannes' research, kickers from 2012 to 2014 on teams who are favored by 5 to 9.5 points returned an average of 8.74 fantasy points.

Those points are solid, but we also like Boswell's chances because of the Steelers' high implied total. The total for the game is 47 points. Because the Steelers are favored by 9, their implied total is a substantial 28 points. Sannes found that kickers playing on a team with an implied total of 27 to 29.75 scored an average of 8.64 fantasy points.

Don't be a cowardly lion; draft the Wizard of Boz.
