10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 16
Keelan Cole, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Yahoo Ownership: 4%
Keelan Cole has posted three straight solid fantasy performances, but things were a lot different in Week 15 than they were in his last two. Weeks 13 and 14 saw him post a combined 148 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he was absurdly efficient in those games, doing that damage on only 6 targets and 6 receptions.
That efficiency seemed to earn him an increased role in the offense in Week 15 as he saw a team-high 9 targets against the Houston Texans on Sunday -- accounting for a hefty 34.6% of the Jacksonville Jaguars' total. Finally getting volume to go with his efficient production, he exploded for 31.6 fantasy points.
A workload like that is especially appealing for him in Week 16 as he gets to take on the San Francisco 49ers, who are allowing the league's sixth-most adjusted net yards per pass attempt and entered Week 15 as a bottom-five pass defense, per our schedule-adjusted metrics.
