Panthers continue to rave about wide receiver Curtis Samuel
The Carolina Panthers coaching staff and players have been showering third-year wide receiver Curtis Samuel with compliments and expect a breakout season from him.
Samuel did not do much his first two seasons in the NFL, collecting 66 touches for 757 yards in 22 games. However, head coach Ron Rivera says that Samuel is "light years ahead" of his rookie self while fellow receiver Torrey Smith said Samuel "had the most growth out of any player I've ever seen."
Samuel continues to rise up our preseason rankings and currently checks in as WR36 for the 2019 season. Our models project 62.3 catches, 809.9 total yards, and 5.2 touchdowns from Samuel this season.
