Garafolo: Commanders will release tight end Logan Thomas
According to Mike Garafolo, the Washington Commanders will release tight end Logan Thomas.
After four seasons with Washington, the Commanders will move on from Thomas in order to save $6.5 million of cap space. Expect the veteran to find a pass catching role with another team after he logged 90.7% route participation percentage last season.
On 76 targets in 2023, Thomas ranked 46th among his position with a 57.1 Pro Football Focus rating while accounting for 55 receptions for 496 yards and four touchdowns.
