Dante Fowler joins Atlanta on three-year deal
Former Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Dante Fowler has signed on with the Atlanta Falcons on a three-year contract, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Fowler is coming off a career year in which he racked up 12 sacks - the same amount as his previous two seasons combined - while adding 45 tackles, 6 pass defenses, and 2 forced fumbles. His 11.6 pressure percentage ranked 17th among all linebackers with at least 200 pass rushes, and his 2.5 sack percentage ranked 12th.
Fowler joins a Falcons team that struggled to rush the passer in 2019, ranking 19th in hurry percentage (8.8) and 30th in pressure percentage (18.4).
