Carroll on Seahawks adding another quarterback: 'I don’t see us making a trade for anybody at all'
According to head coach Pete Carroll, the Seattle Seahawks are unlikely to add a quarterback with starting experience.
Per Carroll, the Seahawks do not "see" a trade occurring for an experienced quarterback despite their continued efforts to find one. Expect Drew Lock and Geno Smith to compete for the Seahawks' first-string role if they overall decide to stay put with their quarterback situation.
On 111 pass attempts last season, Lock ranked 31st among his position with a a 60.0 Pro Football Focus rating while Smith finished 18th with a 73.9 mark on 95 attempts.
