49ers reportedly trade quarterback Trey Lance to Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly acquired quarterback Trey Lance on Friday.
With just four starts in a San Francisco uniform, Lance will head to Dallas in exchange for a fourth pick after the 49ers announced Sam Darnold would be their second string quarterback. Expect the 23-year old to play a backup role behind Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush.
On 102 career pass attempts, Lance has produced 56 completions for 5 touchdowns and 797 yards, a 69.2% adjusted completion percentage, and a 4.6% big throw rate while also rushing for 235 yards and 1 touchdown.
