Patriots place JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) on injured reserve, out for remainder of season
New England Patriots wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) has been placed on injured reserve.
Smith-Schuster's first season with the Patriots will end after he was unable to return from an ankle injury he suffered in Week 14. Expect DeVante Parker and Demario Douglas to operate as New England's top wideouts for their final two games of this season.
On 46 targets this season, Smith-Schuster ranked 100th among wideouts with a 57.0 Pro Football Focus offensive rating while hauling in 29 receptions for 260 yards and 1 touchdown.
