Compared to yesterday, we don't have quite the embarrassment of riches at pitcher, with one hurler standing out from the rest. There's some pitching value to be found, though, particularly if you're looking to stack the Boston Red Sox at Coors Field.

High-Priced Pitcher

Gerrit Cole ($12,000 on FanDuel): With Max Scherzer ($11,400) still recovering from an ailing back, he only threw 71 pitches in his last start and admitted afterwards that he's "not out of the woods yet." Even in a cushy matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, that makes him extremely difficult to trust at such a high price tag, leaving Gerrit Cole pretty much in a tier of his own tonight. Cole is enjoying another spectacular season in an Astros uniform, and if we exclude the hobbled Scherzer, Cole's 2.87 SIERA and 37.3% strikeout rate blow away everyone else on the slate. A mediocre matchup against the Rays isn't necessarily a walk in the park, but no one else on the slate is likely to match Cole's upside tonight -- he's exceeded 60 FanDuel points in three of his last six starts.
