Wide Receivers
High-Cost Option: Mike Evans $8,800
The top options at wide receiver face some rough matchups this week, but Philadelphia has been bleeding fantasy points to WR1's all season, and the Eagles secondary will have their hands full with Mike Evans this week. Philadelphia is giving up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers and the sixth-most touchdowns to the position. Evans has seen 32 targets over the past two games with Vincent Jackson out with injury, who is expected to sit out this week as well. Only Antonio Brown has seen more targets over the past two weeks, and this kind of volume is exactly what we're looking for. Evans has averaged 8 catches and 138 yards over that time span, but he has only scored one touchdown on the season. Expect some regression back to last year's touchdown total this week in a plus matchup against the Eagles.
Mid-Cost Option: Michael Crabtree $6,000
Detroit's top cornerback, Darius Slay, has steadily climbed to become ProFootballFocus' second-highest graded cornerback and should spend most of his time on Amari Cooper. The Raiders have been moving Michael Crabtree all over the formation this year, but should spend most of his time lined up against Nevin Lawson who was banged up in last week's game with a concussion. Crabtree's softer matchup against Lawson (or another cornerback further down the depth chart) in a highly-projected scoring game, makes him a terrific target for fantasy purposes. The Raiders have been throwing the ball the ninth-most in the league (63.5% of the time), and Crabtree continues to lead the team in targets (85). The Lions are giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers, but much of that is going away from Slay's way. A projected 48-point team total, the Raiders will likely be dueling with the Lions all afternoon against two subpar defenses, and Crabtree looks to have a clear path to fantasy productivity.
Low-Cost Option: Danny Amendola $4,000
New starting slot receiver Danny Amendola will look to replace the production of Julian Edelman and has already shown the pedigree that he's up for the task. He's already got three games with over 17 fantasy points under his belt during his past five games and will look to build on that momentum in one of the league's most efficient offenses. The Patriots are 7-point home favorites this week against Buffalo and passed the ball 59 times in their previous matchup versus only 15 runs. Buffalo slot cornerback Nickell Robey continues to be picked on each week, as he gave up 4 catches for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns last week against the Jets. At $4,000, Amendola leaves plenty of room for flexibility in your lineups with a tremendous situation in front of him to hit value.
GPP Wildcard: Golden Tate $4,600
Going outside the box on this one, we've seen Golden Tate's salary drop $1,700 over the course of the season as he (and the entire Detroit offense) haven't lived up to expectations this season. Tate gets a chance to redeem fantasy value this week, taking on Oakland's D.J. Hayden in a matchup that should benefit the Lions greatly. Hayden was burned repeatedly by Antonio Brown a few weeks ago, en route to his 284-yard receiving performance, with nearly half that total credited towards Hayden's coverage. On the season, the Raiders are giving up the 13th-most fantasy points to wide receivers but the seventh-most receiving yards. Tate has been a disappointment so far this season but hits a few checkboxes for GPP consideration. He'll likely be a low-owned guy in a projected high scoring game, where opposing offenses have thrown against Oakland with the third-highest frequency in the league (64.4% of the time).
